Furniture Care

Wood and Veneer

We would like to recommend that your new piece of furniture made by these materials should avoid leaving anything on the surfaces for the first few weeks if they are exposed to sunlight. This should help you avoid any marks appearing on the furniture if lightens by the sun.

It is always advisable to use a damp but not soak wet cloth to clean the surface. Since wood and veneer are vulnerable to liquids, it is best to wipe it off immediately and dry thoroughly afterwards. Stains can be removed by using mild soap and warm water.

Leather

It is best to avoid the furniture piece with direct sunlight or heat to prevent the problem of lighten leather. To keep the leather looking its best, we recommend you to clean it with leather cleaner. Alternatively, you can clean the leather with soft, dry cloth or a cloth with soapy water for a bit more elbow grease.

Upholstery

Seat cushions should be turned regularly to help them wear evenly. Give foam, feather or fibre-filled cushions a shake as often as possible to help them keep their shape. The feet on the sofa or chair should tightly fastened and make sure not to drag them to prevent damage to the feet or your floor.

Mattress

It is important to place the mattress on a slat base or base that allows ventilation around the mattress. The space between slats should be no more than 7cm apart. It is advisable not to expose the mattress to dampness or moisture. The life of the mattress and mattress cover can prolong by using 100% cotton mattress protector to absorb the moisture. The removable covers are washable at 60 degrees maximum or dry-clean it.

Wall bed

The installed wall beds should be inspected annually by licensed builder, carpenter or tradesperson to make sure the wall bed operate safely and correctly.
